Potential resident bacterial microbiota in udder tissues of culled cows sampled in abattoir

چکیده

While mammary gland tissues (MGTs) are difficult to sample without risks for cow's health or milk production, analysis used in routine assess dairy cow udder's health. This study aimed identify, quantify, compare the and MGTs microbiota of macroscopically healthy bovine glands (MG) order evaluate their degree similarity. We harvested 13 couples samples, originated from same quarter at culling. 16S rDNA Amplicon Sequencing was performed, showing Corynebacterium as main bacterial genus both types samples but generally found higher proportions than tissues. Species evenness while species richness samples. Beta diversity significantly different between matrices suggesting presence a resident cows time culling partially reflected by quarter. • Bacterial comparison Metagenetic amplicon sequencing V1-V3 regions. Microbiota show two distinct populations.

Role of neutrophils in protection of udder from infection in high yielding dairy cows

Protection of the mammary gland against mastitis-causing pathogens is mediated by many factors in thegland and blood circulation. The professional phagocytic cells of bovine udder, polymorphonuclearneutrophils (PMN) and macrophages, comprise the first line of defense against invading mastitis pathogens. Most researchers now accept that the PMN is a key factor in the cows’ defense against intrama...

Nutrition and udder health in dairy cows: a review
